About Us
At Anchor, We Believe Healing Happens In Connection—Not In Isolation
We’re a therapist-led mental health support platform, passionate about creating spaces where people can feel seen, heard, and supported. Founded with the belief that no one should navigate mental health challenges alone, our mission is to provide compassionate, effective group therapy that empowers individuals to regain control of their lives.
Our team of licensed therapists brings a wealth of experience in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and related challenges. We prioritize creating a judgment-free environment where every voice is heard, respected, and valued.
Anchor stands as a beacon of hope and a safe place where you can anchor yourself in community, resilience, and healing. Through therapist-led mental health support, we offer care, connection, and steady presence as you navigate the work of being human.
Anchor is more than a name. It’s a promise. A place to ground yourself. A reminder that healing is possible and that you don’t have to do it alone.

What Makes Anchor Different From Other Mental Health Platforms
Unlike traditional mental health, we leverage our healing modalities from a holistic set of skills and training. Just as you are a whole being, we believe that healing from trauma, anxiety and depression requires utilizing a complete set of tools that empower our clients to reach the healing they desire faster, with less wasted time and with the greatest potential for results.
So while we offer traditional approaches to healing, we also look at a mind-body approach that helps clients feel better quickly. Our group coaching sessions are available remotely so you can get the support you need at convenient times and we offer a mix of psychoeducation, DBT skill building and group coaching sessions.
Why Groups?
The APA (American Psychological Association) recently published that, “group therapy is a triple-E treatment, which means it’s effective, it’s equivalent to individual therapy for most conditions, and it’s efficient…” It’s also cost effective and easily accessible making it one of the most effective, go-to solutions for professionals, busy students and families and anyone who struggles to find time in their lives to go to a therapist’s office.
The other important variable about groups is peer support. An often overlooked ingredient in ongoing anxiety and depression is isolation. Loneliness, feeling that you’re “the only one” and getting lost in your inner dialogue all contribute to being stuck in down cycles that last longer than necessary.
Belonging is a human condition, one that has been supported by research since the early 1950s, but not everyone has a “group” or family they feel comfortable in. Group therapy and coaching brings you together with other people who may not look like you, may not have your exact story, but who want the same healing you do.
.

That one thread of connection is often enough to help clients get the dose of community and belonging needed to reduce the hold anxiety and depression have on you.
Is group therapy a magic bullet, no. But, when clients do their work in the group, it has a healing effect that is very different from what is created in traditional one-on-one therapy or coaching
